Rosalie Blanza lives near Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, in the Philippines. She works as an assistant in a hospital, but her salary is not yet enough to provide for herself, her parents, and her future. In her spare time, Rosalie makes colorful headbands and beaded bouquets to supplement her income from the hospital. In a country with substantial underemployment, this is the best solution she has found to help provide for herself and her parents. Rosalie hopes to soon save enough money to be able to marry and start a family of her own.
