Grace Joe is 44 and lives in Krobo, Ghana.  Bead-making has always been her passion, so she spent years as a street seller raising money to buy the molds, dyes, fire irons, and other tools needed to make recycled glass beads.  She uses old bottles and broken windows as the raw materials for her craft.  Aided in her work by her brother and her grown daughter, Grace now earns enough money to keep her nephew in school and to cover the food bills for her son, who lives away from home and is training to be a mechanic.  She is looking forward to being able to save money so she can build her own family home.
